THE LAKE GEORGE MUSIC FESTIVAL GUILD

Tables set and ready for guests at the Carriage House

VICTORIAN TEA

Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, 3:00pm - 5:00pm
The Carriage House

Held at the historic 19th century Carriage House at Fort William Henry, join us as we attempt to recapture the romance of Lake George’s Gilded Age days. Be a part of a gathering that is both elegant and fun! Our Victorian Tea Party will have an emphasis on presentation, conversation, and music.

Sponsored by the Lake George Music Festival Guild – This is a special afternoon in support of our student musicians! Proceeds from this event will directly provide scholarship support to young musicians in need.

Afternoon includes a presentation of "The Fascinating Life of Katrina Trask" by Betty Spinelli, a performance by Lake George Music Festival Artistic Director and violinist, Barbora Kolarova, and a talk and video screening by Festival CEO Alexander Lombard. Tickets also include eloquently designed Victorian era themed tables, tea/coffee, tea sandwiches, scones, croissants, fruits, and other foods.

Order tickets online at the link below or by calling 518.791.5089

WAYS TO HELP

While there are NO membership dues, Guild members can support our roster of musicians the following ways:

  • Attend the Guild Luncheon and Victorian Tea fundraisers in August to raise scholarship support for our young student musicians

  • Hosting emerging artists and providing a supportive “home away from home” during the festival.

  • Providing a pot-luck meal to share with musicians (we feed them daily in season!)

  • Selling refreshments and merchandise at performances

  • Hosting an “in-home concert” at your residence for your friends

  • Increase awareness of, and generate community support for the Festival by inviting friends, neighbors, and family to our concerts.

  • Personalize and enrich the summer experience of our artists by offering boat rides, hikes, dinners out, and other fun activities.
